It’s hard to believe Alyssa has been gone for almost an entire year. We cannot let the anniversary of the tragic event that forever changed our world simply pass us by, unmarked.

We will begin this powerful, week-long event with the Alyssa Lokits Memorial Walk & Dedication Ceremony, at noon on October 12.

Family, friends, community leaders, partners and sponsors will gather at the Orchard Bend Parking lot of the Mill Creek Greenway in Antioch, then walk together to the Old Hickory Trailhead to honor Alyssa's life and unending impact with a bench dedication.

Nothing will ever feel like enough—but this is something that feels incredibly meaningful. We would be honored for you to join us.

There will be a community event to launch the jog-a-thon to follow at Orchard Bend Park with live music, vendors and food trucks.
